British Kennel and Cattery Association Print E-mail

The British Kennel & Cattery Association (BKCA) acts as a voice for the licensed kennel and cattery sector with influencers, policy and lawmakers throughout the UK. Members receive information, support and the opportunity to network, raise standards and share best practice.

Kennels and catteries that are already Trust members are now automatically part of the BKCA. Represented on the Board by Directors Pam Gee and Christine Sandiford, BKCA members are seen as the best in the industry, subscribing to the code of practice to guarantee the highest standards of animal care and customer service across the sector. Customers are encouraged to look for the logo to ensure they use a high quality, professional business.

The BKCA has just launched a new qualification with those managing kennels, catteries and re-homing centres in mind. The course is a City & Guilds/NPTC nationally accredited level 3 qualification. Further information on the qualification can be found on the press pages.
